Rachid is a Master Innovator and Science Advisory Board Associate (SABA) -- representing the top 1% of technology leaders across Motorola Mobility.

He holds 50 issued patents and 80+ pending patent applications with the U.S. Patent Office. He has developed several futuristic concepts and technology applications that were later adopted in the cellular industry. Most notably, he led the ultra-thin clam project, which started the iconic first MOTOROLA RAZR.

Rachid holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
