PJ Hyett is the founder and COO of GitHub, a social network for programmers that provides powerful collaboration, review, and code management for open source and private development projects.

Launched in 2008, Github now has more than 3 million users and hosts more than 5 million repositories. Prior to founding GitHub, PJ worked as a software engineer at CNET and served as a partner at Err Free, LLC. He holds a BS in Computer Science.
